Staging is accomblished through the use of the homeowner's existing furnishings. Home Detailing has props that are utilized, when necessary, to round out a vignette or created space. In those cases where a home is empty, rental furniture is used to establish the desired effect and atmosphere.

I am able to recommend alterations that present the greatest impact without a large financial investment. The price of staging is always less than the first price reduction.

Other recommendations may include wall color choices, floor and window treatments and fixture updates. I have assembled a team of skilled professionals to help with the transformation as well as several local businesses offering discounts on products.

The way one lives in a home is not the way one sells a home, therefore a transition has to take place.      

For many the sale of one's home is a stressful time due impart to the associated memories with the home. These recollections are what tend to get entangled with the homeowner's abilities to depersonalize the home effectively. Another stresser may just be lack of time to execute the needed changes to ready the home.

For those who wish to tackle the staging process themselves.

I will spend 60-90 minutes offering recommendations on such things as furniture placement, wall color, flooring options, exterior modifications and depersonalizing the home.

Cost: $125-175.00

For those who would rather NOT take on all the preparations.

I will spend 15-20 minutes going through the home and will discuss the issues for the homeowner(s) to address and the staging process in which I will assume.

Another date will be set for me to work my magic in redesigning the rooms for maximum appeal. Averages 4-8 hours.

The staging is done primarily with the homeowner's furnishings. Home Detailing has props to augment the space.

Cost: begins at $400.00 (price will be discussed during initial visit)

Vacant properties "read" smaller and do not elicit an emotional connection.

Key rooms such as living room, formal dining room and master bedroom are staged with selected furnishings to create the desired effect.

Two types of furniture packages ~

• Rental furniture (pieces selected specifically for the home)
• Purchase furniture from consignment stores/peddlers malls. (Avg.6-12 hours to hand-select items suited for the home.) Homeowner pays pickup/delivery. Furniture can be re-consigned or donated to charity.
